  • Please let us know if you will be arriving with any friends or family members. All students will need to complete this form. Be advised that it will be difficult for IFI to find host families who can accommodate a group larger than 2 or 3.
  • Indicate how many nights of temporary housing you need. Our host families provide 1 to 4 nights of temporary housing completely free of charge. Please make every necessary arrangement so that you do not exceed the amount of time you select. Under no circumstance should you stay in the host's home longer than 4 nights.

A NOTE ON LOCAL AND REGIONAL AIRPORTS IN THE TRI-STATE AREA (IN, KY, OH):

Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International (CVG) is obviously the closest airport to the University of Cincinnati.  As a former Delta hub and current Delta focus city (i.e. many routes are dominated by Delta), CVG can sometimes be one of the more expensive airports in the region for arrivals as well as departures.  There are five (5) other airports within a two-hour drive of greater Cincinnati, namely:

Columbus, Ohio (CMH); Dayton, Ohio (DAY); Indianapolis, Indiana (IND); Lexington, Kentucky (LEX); and Louisville, Kentucky (SDF)

All of these airports are accessible from the hubs of the three major US carriers: American, Delta and United. Prices for air travel in the US are extremely dynamic and rise and fall frequently; it is wise to subscribe to a “watch list” or similar utility available through a number of online providers.
