What’s a Drive-In-Movie?? you ask?
It’s a type of cinema where people watch films together from their vehicle on a large outdoor screen. This kind of theater has been around in the US since 1933!
The theater will be showing Aladdin (2019)!
Aladdin?
Aladdin is a classic tale told and re-told all over the world in various forms. This musical version is about a kind-hearted street urchin and a power-hungry Grand Vizier who vie for a magic lamp that has the power to make their deepest wishes come true. The 1992 US American animated movie was redone in live-action in 2019 starring Will Smith!
Will transportation be provided?
Yes! We will pick up students at CLIFTON COURT between 7:00 – 7:30 PM. No more than 4 people per car including driver.
Does this event cost anything?
YES — $5 per person. Feel free to bring additional money for food or drinks at the theater. There will be a concession stand on site selling pizza, snacks, drinks, etc.
COVID-19 Precautions
– Everyone is required to wear a mask at all times.
– There will be access to hand sanitizer in each car.
– Cars at the event will be parked at least 6 feet apart.
Anything else I need to know?
– I would bring a light sweater for it might get a little cooler in the evening.
– Bring a snack!
IFI Staff and Volunteers will be driving everyone to this event.
